Planning the assembly visit
Keep the instructions and fittings together. Photos help if an item is partly assembled or damaged.
- Tell us where the boxes are, where the furniture will go and about stairs, tight spaces or heavy items needing two people. You don’t need to move heavy boxes for an assessment.
- Mention any required wall anchoring and fixings you have. We’ll assess the item, wall and suitable fixings before you buy extras.
We assemble standard, complete-kit furniture without custom modifications. Custom cabinetry and fitted joinery need a specialist. Delivery and removals aren’t included in furniture assembly; ask us separately about what we can handle.

Questions before you call
Do you charge per item?
No. We charge for the time, not per item. Taking the packaging away isn’t included unless you ask.
What if a job needs two people?
Tell us about stairs, awkward access or anything heavy. If a job needs two people, we’ll say so and agree the price before booking.
Is there a call-out charge?
No. There’s no call-out or fuel charge for local visits.
Is the first visit free?
Yes, and there’s no obligation. We look at the jobs and give you a price. The work itself is paid.
What’s in the £99 for four hours?
One person for four hours, starting 9am or 1pm. General jobs and pressure washing. Other skilled jobs are £40 an hour.
Who pays for materials?
Our prices are for labour. Materials, delivery, parking and taking waste away are extra. We tell you what they’ll be and agree them before we start.
Can the price change on the day?
Not without your OK. We agree the jobs and the price before we come. If something changes, we stop and check with you first.
What counts as a skilled job?
Jobs that need more skill or kit: hanging doors, fitting worktops, kitchen doors and hinges, small floor repairs, gate and railing repairs, boxing in, and pressure washing. Nothing that needs a Gas Safe engineer, electrician or plumber, and nothing structural. If a job needs a qualified trade, we’ll say so.

Bath and nearby villages, generally within about a 30-minute drive. Send your postcode to check.
