What helps us prepare for a tech visit?
Share your postcode, device name and what is happening. Mention any error message or recent changes—no technical terms needed.
- For a printer: tell us the model, what you print from and whether another device still prints. Mention recent router or computer changes.
- Have the instructions, paper and required ink or toner ready. We can check the connection and setup together. If it works, we’ll try a test print and show you how to use it.
Broadband-service and fibre-line faults need your provider. Hardware faults or unsupported equipment may need the manufacturer or a repair specialist. We don’t offer data recovery or hardware repairs.

Questions before you call
Can you always fix it?
We can’t promise a fix. Broadband faults need your provider, and hardware faults may need the maker or a repair specialist.
Is there a call-out charge?
No. There’s no call-out or fuel charge for local visits.
Is the first visit free?
Yes, and there’s no obligation. We look at the jobs and give you a price. The work itself is paid.
What’s in the £99 for four hours?
One person for four hours, starting 9am or 1pm. General jobs and pressure washing. Other skilled jobs are £40 an hour.
Who pays for materials?
Our prices are for labour. Materials, delivery, parking and taking waste away are extra. We tell you what they’ll be and agree them before we start.
Can the price change on the day?
Not without your OK. We agree the jobs and the price before we come. If something changes, we stop and check with you first.
What counts as a skilled job?
Jobs that need more skill or kit: hanging doors, fitting worktops, kitchen doors and hinges, small floor repairs, gate and railing repairs, boxing in, and pressure washing. Nothing that needs a Gas Safe engineer, electrician or plumber, and nothing structural. If a job needs a qualified trade, we’ll say so.
