What should I tell you about the painting?
Send your postcode and the areas you have in mind. Small jobs are welcome too.
- Photos of the whole area and any loose, damaged or worn sections help.
- For exterior woodwork, include a close-up and a wider view.
- Mention furniture, height or awkward access, and what you know about the existing finish.
We’ll check the surface and preparation first. If repairs need a specialist, we’ll explain before painting is booked.

Questions before you call
Is paint included?
No, paint is extra. We agree the finish, the product and who buys it before we start.
Is there a call-out charge?
No. There’s no call-out or fuel charge for local visits.
Is the first visit free?
Yes, and there’s no obligation. We look at the jobs and give you a price. The work itself is paid.
What’s in the £99 for four hours?
One person for four hours, starting 9am or 1pm. General jobs and pressure washing. Other skilled jobs are £40 an hour.
Who pays for materials?
Our prices are for labour. Materials, delivery, parking and taking waste away are extra. We tell you what they’ll be and agree them before we start.
Can the price change on the day?
Not without your OK. We agree the jobs and the price before we come. If something changes, we stop and check with you first.
What counts as a skilled job?
Jobs that need more skill or kit: hanging doors, fitting worktops, kitchen doors and hinges, small floor repairs, gate and railing repairs, boxing in, and pressure washing. Nothing that needs a Gas Safe engineer, electrician or plumber, and nothing structural. If a job needs a qualified trade, we’ll say so.
